Marina Warner is an attorney with extensive experience advising technology-driven companies on product development, data governance, and regulatory compliance.  She is currently Lead Counsel, Product and Data Law at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, where she advises on the company’s AI, marketing, and emerging technologies strategies.  Previously, Marina served as Legal Counsel at Haven Technologies, where she was instrumental in building scalable privacy programs and securing insurance product approvals across all 50 states.

Before transitioning in-house, Marina founded and operated a boutique law firm that provided legal services to technology startups and creative businesses, advising on commercial contracts, intellectual property, and business strategy.  She began her legal career as a Robert F. Kennedy Public Service Fellow at the Fashion Law Institute, where she conducted research and authored publications on intellectual property and labor issues affecting the fashion industry.

Marina holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, an M.A. in Global Business Law from Sciences Po Paris, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.  She is admitted to practice law in New York and was selected as a 2022 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

Outside of work, Marina enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring her adopted hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
